Dr. Roopnarinesingh opened the doors to his private practice in Rockhampton in 2008 as an obstetrician & gynaecologist. In 2023, Dr. Akash has decided to close the chapter on our obstetrics clinic but are pleased to continue to offer high quality gynaecology services to the community.
Dr. Roopnarinesingh has admitting rights at The Hillcrest Hospital in Rockhampton– offering a complete gynaecology service. We have served the growing community of Yeppoon since 2008 with a monthly outreach clinic however we are now offering our services in Gladstone from the end of 2023.
The nature of private practice is such that you receive a highly personal level of care. We all get to know each other well throughout your treatment. We have many repeat customers, and it is gratifying to know that in some families we are now seeing second and third generation patients.
Since 2008 we have delivered over 3,000 babies and performed over 4,500 gynaecological procedures including hysteroscopies, laparoscopies and hysterectomies.
We welcome new gynaecology patients in both Rockhampton and Gladstone and offer early pregnancy clinic prior to 12 weeks gestation for those patients with complications in the first trimester.
